This is a great site! Thanks for taking your time to write and photograph your progress. Curious though, where did you get your tools i.e. block and tackle, ropes etc.?

Hey. Glad to have ya ‘on board’! My wife and I took a log cabin building course that taught you can build a log cabin with simply garage sale tools. No need for boom trucks and fancy milling. So I hunted eBay and barn sales. I did buy a new Chainsaw. Rope I bought new also. I just landed in WA to cut trees for the cabin. Tell me about your project.
