Here Bonnie and Amy have taken the highest trail down to the river to cool off
Elk Lookout Ranch is only 20 miles to the Pacific Ocean.
We took a break and drove up to La Push…3 hours…and hiked in to Beach #1 and camped overnight on the beach!
Hiking fools!
Fathers Day at Elk Lookout Ranch.
Eli loves big trucks.
Big trees are wonderful but dangerous…
My sis Kara cools off during the hot spell of 2014…in the 90’s
Lucia and I share a tube.
Grandpa’s large butt hindered progress so….
Our canvas 10’x20′ carport off craigslist ‘did the trick’ to repel rain as well as sunshine. It got so hot I ended up adding two more layers.
Amy seen here driving ‘her’ jeep…humm…
My favorite Eli pic.
OK…maybe this one is my favorite…the Satsop in summertime is shallow and perfect for relaxing in.
The boy loves headlamps.
Grandpa was the hero of the day with this rope swing.
Lucia and Eli make Grandpa Dave’s day
Bonnie cools off
The initial shock of cold water on a hot bottom is extreme.
Eli loves tractors!
The chalkboard wall in the tiny house is just not as fun as Grandpa Dave’s face….come on…
Bonnie’s niece Kim pose next to the well driller. We were lucky…our well produces 16 gallons per minute…and we drink it straight from the ground!
Lucy waters our new flowers in front of the tiny house.
